Bio

Although she has been writing songs since she was nine years old, Kitty first broke into the scene when she received the Songwriters Hall of Fame Abe Olman Scholarship for Excellence in Songwriting from The National Academy of Popular Music.

This was followed by an appearance in the first New Writers Showcase for the Songwriters Hall of Fame, which led Sheet Music Magazine to print the music and lyrics to one of her songs, “He’s So Right.”

Two of her songs, “Hugged by You” and “My Horse and Me” were recorded and released by ABC’s Full House stars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. She also produced and released the award-winning album Secret Door featuring Pixie Sage, a good-natured but somewhat clumsy and mischievous imaginary character voiced by Kitty.

Currently she is supplying catchy pop tunes and character voices for The Hickory Bench Playhouse on iHeartRadio.

As a songwriter, Kitty uses her romantic heart and innate compassion to write about the intricacies of relationships, but in a way that is universally accessible. The vibrant images in her songs are a perfect complement to any visual medium.
